What Is Paramount+?
ViacomCBS Streaming, a branch of ViacomCBS, owns and operates Paramount+, a subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service. It includes original and library material from CBS Entertainment Group, ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks, and the Paramount Pictures collection. Following the 2019 re-merger of CBS and Viacom, the service was expanded and relaunched as Paramount+ on March 4, 2021. It was first introduced as CBS All Access on October 28, 2014.

On the day of the serviace's renaming, Latin America and the already existing Canadian service would be the first to be added, followed by the Nordic countries on March 25 and Australia on August 11. On the Australian version of the service, content from ViacomCBS' free-to-air Network 10 is also available.
Is Paramount Plus Free With DirecTV?
If you want to watch Paramount Plus for free, you won't be able to do so with your cable subscription, as you could with CBS All Access. To use the service, you'll need to join up for a membership, which starts at $5.99 a month. Limited Commercials for $5.99 per month or No Commercials for $9.99 per month are the two options available with Paramount Plus. However, there are still places where you can watch CBS for free utilising your cable subscription.
