BIOGRAPHY
Hwang In-Yeop studied at the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School in Davao, Philippines, graduating in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a specialization in fashion design. Back in South Korea, he completed his mandatory military service before starting his modeling career in 2017. After modeling on several runways, he debuted as an actor in 2018 when he joined the main cast of the web series WHY where he played Gi Jae-yeong. This was followed by starring roles in the web series Freshman (2019) and in the series The Tale of Nokdu (2019) and 18 Again (2020). His career achieved widespread popularity thanks to his lead role as the attractive student Han Seo-joon in the hit True Beauty (2021). In 2022, he stars in the Netflix series The Sound of Magic , based on a webtoon of the same name, playing Na Il-deung, a diligent student who begins to change after learning about the fun of magic.
