During the Lagos West Senatorial District Town Hall Meeting at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu assured property owners of compensation in the event of their structures being demolished for the construction of the Fourth Mainland Bridge. Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the construction of the bridge will be carried out in phases and assured that extensive work has already been undertaken in preparation for the commencement of the project. He acknowledged that some properties and businesses may be affected but reiterated the commitment to compensate both landlords and tenants if their properties or businesses are disturbed by the construction. He emphasized that the impact would be along existing corridors and pledged to ensure fair compensation, preventing any undue advantage being taken.
