A man has been stabbed to death after a fight broke out inside an underground carpark at a Melbourne apartment complex on Saturday morning.
Police were called to the St Georges Ave site in Bentleigh East about 2am.
Two men had attended the property and entered the underground carpark when they were confronted by two residents of the apartment complex in Melbourne’s southeast.
A fight broke out, with one of the men stabbed and later dying in hospital. The other man ran away.
“The second man has been located and is currently assisting police with their inquiries,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
The two residents of the complex were in custody and assisting police with their inquires.
The area was cordoned off as homicide squad detectives investigate the incident.
